Meet our newest family member Cotton!   He is a male Keeshond we adopted from the Keeshond Rescue society.   He is 4 to 5 years old, and we knew he had a cough and would probably always need some medicines.   Of course Ann now says it would have been cheaper to adopt a kid and put him through college.   Cotton has cronic bronchitis and yes he has set new records in vet bills.   But you'll never meet a sweeter little boy so yep, he is with us for the long haul!

Here were the pictures that sold us on our little boy!

Cotton and his sister Sheba are now trained to wait outside the kitchen while we eat.
Sheba of course is still the spoiled little lady that sleeps IN the bed vs. next to it.
Buckwheat says she is still our prettiest cat.
Meatball is the sweetest black cat anyone could ask for.   But he expects to be let in and out the door 40 times a day.
Sadly, in 2004 we had to say goodbye to our sweet little Suzanne.  Ann found her half grown as a feral, completely deaf cat with one blue eye and one green eye.   After years of shyness, she grew into a very affectionate and very important member of our family.   She is sorely missed (but no, don't bring us a replacement kitten, we still have plenty of felines!)
